I have a similar situation with my boyfriend. I think he is using drugs or cheating. I mean, I have no secrets. I am easy to find! I think a serious, monogamous relationship requires a certain amount of transparency...whether one party is mentally ill or not. My boyfriend is permanently disabled from depression and anxiety and is a former heroine abuser.

Go with her next time, problem solved. If its because shes bipolar, comfort her. If shes cheating, mow her down with your car. or fist her with both arms and wear like a glove.

    1) Proof read PLEASE!

    2) I don't think she is cheating on you, just try and support her with her condition as much as you can. Mental illness can be terribly trying for a person. Perhaps she feels the need to take off and clear her head. It's possible that she feels guilty about being a burden for you and is trying to give you a break! (My mother would do that)

Why would she use her Bipolar as a excuse. If you know what's it like to have a mental illness, you'd know how hard it is to deal with one. I'm not sure if her disappearances is a symptom or not, but mania can cause people to act "recklessly" among other things. If you cared about her, you'd be more understanding and try to help her deal with this. Instead of accusing her of "making excuses" and "cheating".
