Is it normal that a question doesn't get closed?

I have been her for about 2 months and i am coming across questions that are really old.

Eg Who is going to watch the new harry potter?

Shouldn't questions like this be closed?

How long does a question stay open?

Is it normal for a question to stay open forever?

There are some stories you can find here from 5 or 6 years ago without too much effort. I find it can be quite fun ti look into the past and learn about IINers gone by; it's like lurking in a whole new forum :D

I came across a post that was closed for comment once. It was about something like - "Why do nobody comment after my comments?"

And for new post you simply have to click on newest posts in categories.

If by 'open' you mean here in the site, yes, question stay open forever. They don't ever close. Even if you delete your account, your question will still be there.

    • I always seem to come across the really old ones. Is there a way to filter the old and the new?

How do you come across with the old ones? In the homepage of the site you see the latest posts (unless you have IIN Gold). The only way you can delete old posts is if it's your post, you have a delete option in all the stories you've made. I don't really know if there's another way. Ask TheManagement.

        • Oh yeah i know about deleting your own comments. It just seems that all the questions i come across hs replies that are like 1-2 years old.
