Okay so I personally HATE our music that we had today. I think it's bullshit, anyway I listen to a variety of bands like Dying Fetus, Nile, Behemoth, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Gorgoroth, Opeth, Decapitated, Nevermore, Radiohead, Nine Inch nails, and Tool. So is it normal for me I listen to these bands when ALL my other female friends listen to screamo shit like Black veil brides and bring me the horizon

    haha well i like basically all of the bands you mentioned especially children of bodom, cradle of filth and lamb of god. but i also like bring me the horizon. everyone has different music tastes and you shouldnt judge the stuff your friends listen to.

    I'm a girl, and I love all the bands you mentioned! (Dying Fetus, Nile, Behemoth, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Gorgoroth, Opeth, Decapitated, Nevermore, Radiohead, Nine Inch nails, and Tool) Literally all of my friends are male, because of our music taste. There aren't enough girls that listen to stuff like thiss :( Also, you got LastFM? LOL!!

      Um I do listen to classical rock music, obviously like The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica(old) Megadeth, Black Sabbath, etc.

      What he said. It's just as bad as rap to me, and to several people.

      There's a wide variety of great rock and metal bands out there, too many to name. I don't know why some people choose the really aggressive growly ones. Iron Maiden are the best hard rock band in my opinion, The Beatles are the best band overall, and bands like The Who, Genesis and Queen are also favourites with massive talent, Genesis especially - you can't beat Supper's Ready, THAT is a groundbreaking piece of music.

      I guess some people just can't appreciate music that doesn't sound angry and rude :/

    Radiohead isn't metal. And Cradle of Filth isn't much better than Bring Me The Horizon.

    That's good stuff, except the NIN, tool and crap like that. Nile and Dying Fetus are elite. I'm listening to Sargeist right now. Aeon, Deeds of Flesh, Pathology, Human Filleted are good. Vital Remains (Dechristianize and Icon of Evil) is some of the best music around. When Vital Remains goes in; it's takes a long time to get out. There's a band with a female lead vocalist called Abnormality.
