Is it normal son to be angry over me calling him a theif and a liar

My teenage son wanted dropped off at the mall.He wouldn't say why other than he wanted to blow some steam off after a bad day at school. My really old boombox and cellphone are missing and I thought my son was selling them and had them in his backpack.

So I grabbed his backpack off him in front of everyone at target and made a scene. He grabbed them off me and left.Later when we picked him up we ended up having a big fight about my missing stuff and the chewed up blinds in his old room.

He got realy irate because I called him a liar and a theif and made a big deal about him buying a starbucks. He is like I sold my old video games and console to buy a cool cell phone why would he want my crappy old stuff that barely works.

So then I kicked him out of the car on a six lane highway he wouldn't get out because he didn't want to get hit. I have never seen him so furious, usually the kid is sarcastic happy and chill.

He went to my mother in laws and will not speak to me.I never seen him so mad at me.He doesn't seem to understand how stressful my life is. I have work with a woman who cries everytime I talk to her and my husband seems like he wants a divorce.

    I'm thankful I don't have a mother like you.

It doesn't matter how stressful your life is, you're supposed to be the grownup here and it would serve you right if he never comes back & never speaks to you again.

Why would he want to be anywhere such a nasty bitch of a mother as you are? You wrongly accused him, humiliated him in public and then endangered his life: what do you expect?

Sort your own life out and get off his back.

I did have a mother like this. She hated my husband and both of my kids so we rarely saw her after I got married.(thank god) This is a horrible thing to say but I was really glad when she finally passed away.
