Stab holes in your penis and ballsack. Not only can you not reproduce like a man now..but now you are also experiencing your very first menstruation. Just get somebody to continuously punch you in the stomach whilst you are bleeding to the point of near death. It would be as if you are a girl.

Now go make me a sandwich :|

You might want to consider getting a transgender! It's perfectly normal. I know lots of people who feel that way. If you sincerely feel like a girl, then get a transgender! You can live the rest of your life as a girl and be happy. :) I have personally never felt this way, so I can't relate directly, but if you would like to become a girl, I think you should!

Here's what I don't understand about the trans thing: What does it mean to be a "boy," as opposed to a "girl?"

You say "can someone make me to feel as a woman." [sic] What does that actually mean in this context?

It means they have the brain activity / chemistry of the gender opposite to their natal gender. In other words, their brain doesn't match their body.

If that were the case, then why would they have to take artificial hormones? Most accounts of trans people on such regiments talk about how their mind changes while taking said supplemental hormones. If they already had a differently-wired brain, then the change would just be physical, right?

Moreover, OP was asking "can someone make me to feel as a woman." Does he want someone to force-feed him estrogen pills?

There's a specific type of neuron in a brain structure called the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis. Males have almost twice as many of these neurons as females do. The number of these neurons in the brains of male-to-female transexuals is in the range typically found in female brains. Conversly, the number of these neurons in the female-to-male transexuals is in the range typically found in male brains. This is evident well before any sort of hormone replacement therapy for a sex change.

The hormones transgendered take for a sex change are to change their bodies, not their brains. When I mentioned hormones in my earlier comment, I was talking about the hormones (androgen) they were exposed to in their mother's womb while their brain was developing, which later affects functioning of their brain systems (although environment will always play a role too).

I have never heard of trans people saying that their brain actually changes while on hormone replacement therapy, other than the emotional changes typical in any gender enduring hormonal changes (i.e. pregnancy, 'roid-rage, PMS, etc.). It's possible that due to them becoming the gender that they have always identified with has a significant psychological impact on how they perceive themselves, others, and the world around them. In that respect, their entire outlook may evolve.

Maybe you interpreted the OP's question differently than I did. I saw it as him asking if wanting to be a female is normal and if so, is there any way to make it happen. I wasn't answering his question, though, I was answering your statement about not understanding what it means to be a transgendered male or female. If I misunderstood your comment, my apologies.

I have seen the studies indicating that male and female brains are different, but I've yet to see any on the subject of pre-HRT trans individuals. Do you happen to have a source on that claim?

Here's a link (http://tranifesto.com/2010/06/30/testosterone-and-sex-drive-my-second-adolescence/) about a FtM describing libido, specifically. It certainly sounds like a significant mental change on this individual's part.

"If I misunderstood your comment, my apologies."

Not all. I appreciate you trying to explain what's going on.
