Is it normal some posts are getting some technical difficulties?

Okay, so I don't know if it's just my computer or something, but I've noticed that some of the posts (especially the older or most commented on) are experiencing technical difficulties. What I mean by this is that sometimes the reply button disappears, the post gets closed to further comments (then re-opens later on), the post just stops halfway through (like the entire bottom half of the page just gets cut off), and things just get out of order.

Is it just my computer or is this happening to other people?

EDIT: Also, I just noticed that some of the pictures on the Gold user posts don't show anymore...

    yep it happened to me so i just x off the site and didn't go back

    As soon as a post gets 250 comments, the reply button changes and you can't reply to a comment any more, only make a new comment.

        Absolutely no idea. My best guess is that it's to stop posts becoming like chat rooms because new people can still leave comments, but people can no longer reply to each other and have long conversations.

    If it's a thread with a lot of replies (upwards of a 100) then it will get locked and you won't be able to post in it.

    Other than that, it's not something I've noticed particularly.

      But what about the most commented posts? They have like 300 that still get comments.. I think.
