It seems everyone gets bothered with this site for one reason or another. Why is everyone leaving the website. Why is it that this site has so many pricks that people have to go? I have noticed people leaving for harassment, or bullying. Why is it so bad on this site?
Because people want to have a REAL LIFE and don't want to waste their time on a stupid site.
Because everyone is an absolute fucking idiot. And being is it "normal", most people who are normal don't congregate here. I've been waiting a long time to vent this out. I dont think I'm coming back.
This is one of the more civil corners of the internet in my experience. If you come here with a problem, people will honestly try to help you. Anywhere else the only advice you'd get would be to choke on something and die.
It's not bad at all here. This is one of those happy times when the site is full of good people and - to my eyes at least - nobody really causing problems. I feel welcome here and I hope other people do too.
People may leave for personal reasons, of course. I don't think everyone who leaves really wants to stay.
I think you're oblivious to the drama in the chatroom though huh? That's where most people get annoyed & end up wanting to leave.
Ahh, probably, yeah. I really would like to come back but drama isn't fun to me. If I got my way, we'd all be sitting around eating cucumber sandwiches and the worst insult would be Lady Bottomley-Smythe refusing to finish hers because the crusts were rather beige and an insult to her heritage!
Oh I don't like it either but for the most part, chat can be rather pleasant & enjoyable.
It seems we are blessed with the same taste in fun! Now, do pass the salad cream, Sir d-to-the-appled. Oh & take care not to knock over Ma'am Bottomley-Smythe's drink - the last thing we need is giving her more to complain about.
Chatroom? Eh? There are chat rooms? All I ever do is forums. Where the heck are the chat rooms? I'm pretty sure I have gold since I'm like a 60y/o senior citizen to this site. I have the chat thing in the upper right corner. Is that it??
You seriously do not know where the chat room is? You are kidding right? look on the side of the screen.
I feel like I'm being down talked to.. If I knew where it was, I wouldn't have said it. Unless you mean the catagories on the right, which I do have. I never called them chat rooms though. Maybe that's where the confusion is? I was thinking chat more like MSN chat. If that's now what you meant then "Side of the screen isn't a very helpful descriprion" You mind telling me in a little more detail without the mocking inclination? I honestly don't know :/

I was not talking down to you. I was just shocked you do not know about it. Since it is right there. Look at the side of your screen and it says in red (More stuff to check out) directly under that is member chat. I am not sure how you missed it though.
People take themselves too seriously. Lighten up folks.

I've seen some of your comments here, and I'm mostly just curious as to why you feel the need to dictate the end of most of your comments with scenarios involving feces. Are you trying to be funny?
Personally, I don't think it's that funny and it seems rather distasteful to me. I mean you no offense, and I respect your right to type what/how you want, I just want to know why you do it.
It's called trolls. Either laugh at them or ignore them and life will go on. :)
Who's leaving? Who is being bullied or mistreated? I haven't seen that. But maybe you know something the rest of us haven't seen?
Unfortunately it's normal that many people leave this website. There are just too many jerks on the internet.
Well, for me, I will have to cut back my activity due to school (assuming my classes will be challenging).
As how said, one reason might be that they need a "break from the electronic noise". If I were to leave, it would be due to the repetition of the questions making staying here and trying to give advice seem like a lost cause.
Often thought about leaving but for some reason kept coming back.
Have to overcome my addiction.
I will only say that yes this website is increasingly becoming troll dominated but wait it has only become possible because all the good one's are either leaving or remaining silent... instead of leaving if we simply make an effort to make it better I think t will be good.. to all those who tend to leave PLEASE guys give it a chance.. and yeah lets trust each other.. why are we constantly thinking that most of the members are troll .. WE KNOW THAT STILL THE MAJORITY IS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SINCERE TO THIS SITE....
People on the internet are different from those in reality.
For one thing, they can stay anonymous and start drama or bullying with whoever they wish and not get themselves in trouble. Trolls find it absolutely entertaining to bother some of the users here that have abnormalities. I'm not surprised, society is trying to make everyone fit into certain categories that they call "normal". When those people meet the ones on here that are "strange" to them, they can pick on or try to correct them. A lot of people are leaving this site for bullying, yes, and the fact that some questions are never truly given a good response/answer that will help them with whatever they think isn't normal.
Anything said on the internet by someone hiding behind a username and anonymity shouldn't be taken personally or seriously, or even deserve a response. So no, it isn't normal for people to leave a site for these reasons.
My university on the other hand created a page on facebook similar to this website, and i have left that page, because everything being said is by real people, using their real name, that you will see in real life, and they started being real assholes, which means they are real assholes in real life as well.
