Is it normal showering without soap

While showering, I don't use soap, whatsoever. It has been this way since I slipped in the shower several years ago and had to go to the doctor and explain why I had a bottle inside of me. My doctor still remembers me by it, his grimace is hardly hidden when we meet. I guess it is a little bit of a phobia, if you want to see it that way. So, is it normal?

How come anyone who has an accident always seems to end up with something in their rectum, yet I've fallen plenty of times and have never had this problem? I feel left out.

If this is a serious question then - your skin releases a oily/waxy substance called sebum. A fat based substance is not water soluble so if you just use water then you will have to scrub extremely hard to remove the sebum, soap helps because it allows the oil to dissolve in the water and be washed away a lot more easily. Plus it will make you smell nice. If this isn't a serious post then you can eat shit and die.
