My daughters 22 year old girlfriend gives me a tight hug and squeeze when she says goodnight to go home.It starts with a quick peck on the lips then she hugs me tightly for about 5 seconds.
Is this normal behavoir
I feel I'm like a step dad to her but I'm confused as to why she does this? My daughters other girlfriends never have done this.
I can really feel her breasts between our hug goodnight.
She does this in front of my daughter and sometimes my wife.
Is this normal or is she giving me hints to maybe want more?

    Hard to say. The fact that she does it openly in front of your family could mean that she finds the behavior normal. Don’t make it weird and potentially harm one or more existing relationships by misapprehending her intentions.

    Well, it's normal. We girls are emotional beings, and that includes hugging and kissing. That being said, she is sending you subtle messages that she likes you. Maybe she just likes you a little, or maybe she likes you "a lot".

    When I was 16, I started to hug one of my friend's dad this way because it was my opportunity to get close to a hot guy I admired and had a crush on. Yes, I would press my lips hard against his for as long as I could (hoping our mouths would accidentally open), and then press my boobs against his chest for as long as I could (and I could tell he liked it).... and I would pull his waist close so sometimes I could feel his hard erection when we hugged. Well... I won't write a novel here, but years later we were sexually intimate. I'm just saying it's normal.

    Perhaps next time YOU should initiate the goodbye with a kiss on her lips, and then you give her a close, tight hug (put one hand on her upper back to press her boobs against your chest, and the other hand on the lower part of the small of her back with your fingers on her butt to pull her hips against yours). She obviously is enjoying it, and you should enjoy it too.

    Consider yourself lucky that a 22 y/o wants to share the intimate moment with you. It could be innocent, or it could be intimate. Either way, just accept it, go with it... and enjoy it. ;-)

    Sometimes people (especially females) do weird physical things without meaning anything by it. For instance, when I was a boy my teenage cousin always held me on her lap with her hands drawn back into my stomach an inch or two deep.

    Why? I never knew why, but she often held me this way right in front of our family. And I liked it, but I was like OMG what if someone notices the peculiar way she's holding my stomach in??! I thought they might freak out, but in fact they rarely noticed it, and no one ever objected. So perhaps you're the only one who's feeling uneasy about this girl's behavior.

    Not normal but maybe it's just her way of showing she cares for you all. If she wants more she would probably do something a little more secretive and seductive I think

    That shouldn't matter as you are both respectful of other people's relationships especially when they are that of your daughter as well as respectful of your own to your wife?

    Or you could sacrifice both to go after the ever promising relationship with a lesbian half your age.
