Is it normal she only wants to talk about herself?

This girl she seems really selfish.. its hard to explain but when I asked her what she wanted to be or what she is planning after highschool she told me and never bothered to ask me what I wanted to do. She uses smilies when we talk and she asks me opinions on other women ect..

But she got skype recently and never even bothered to ask me for my skype.. As well as if I say something that I am interested its just a Oh reply but if I ask her something about herself she uses bigger words and is more expressive.. It sounds weird but It kind of bothers me.. Is this normal? Also what should I do? >.<

    Girls love to talk about themselves, I had a friend who was the exact same way. I'd always ask her questions about herself or things that she liked, but she'd never follow up on anything about me. Some people are just like that, if she really is that selfish and it bothers you, then leave her be. Go and find someone whose interested in you for who you are and likes to have a conversation with you.

      Yeah, it could be that she's self-centered, or it could mean that she's not at all interested, or it could have never occurred to her to turn the conversation to someone else besides her, but I agree, if she's all about herself, hit the road and find someone else.

    This is normal. She is probably nervous or self concious. Give her time and maybe she'll get over it.

    Oh forget about her! Be glad she's not Skyping with you cause just thinking about stupid chicks like her makes me bored and tired. I'm 43 years old and sad to say a lot of chicks like her don't grow out of it. Funny thing is when they get older it's not just annoying but pathetic. I had this one so called female friend who used to always call me obsessing about her ex or whatever new douchebag she was crushing on. It was so draining; like verbal exhibition. I finally cut her loose like a fart in the wind and I haven't looked back because one way conversations stink worse than pickled egg farts! Drop her.

    There are often a lot of posts about narcissistic behaviour on this site. I have had friends like this in the past. One was nicknamed - "Me, Myself and I" coz that's all she talked about. My sister and mother are both exactly the same.

    Over the years I've learned that my life is too short for these people to bore me to death - so I've let them go. You will never change them and you are right they have zero interest in another person's life :o( Find a new friend.
