I have a friend that I am starting to not trust.I feel like she is using me to get to my other friend because of the people my friend knows.I warned my friend about the friend I have the trust issue with.I told her that I think my friend is using me to get to her for her connections.What I find not normal is now my friend is starting to talk to the friend I don't trust online.Is this normal? I really don't want to lose the friend that I do trust.

    I say stop trying to micromanage who you friends talk to.

    You have no right to tell your friends who they can and cannot talk to. It's not your business.

    I never gave my friend an ultimatum.I just let her know my feelings I am getting off the friend I don't trust.

    It's normal to be paranoid abbot this girl, but no matter how much you try to warn your friend she'll probably never listen to you. The only thing you can do is watch your back.

    It's normal for someone to persue someone else for connections. Like say, buttering up to someone who know the boss of a company they wish to be hired at. And some people are more than happy to help that person out if it's in their power, or if they're getting something out of it. I don't think you should worry about it, your friend is obviously not bothered by it. It's a common thing in life, and by no means a bad thing.

      and sometimes it's nothing to do with connections at all.

      Sometimes you have friends who dislike - or even hate - your other friends.
      What's hard is when you have friends who decide "well if you're friends with so-and-so it means you don't care about me!" as if you're suppose to ditch people you like just to sooth someone else's ego.

          Exactly. Only thing is.. always be prepared for friend to say "Them."

          Cos if you really like your friends you wouldn't be giving them ultimatums like that. That's high-school drama bs

      I know you're offended that everyone thought you were a child... but in all honesty, you're trying to dictate who your friends can and cannot talk to. And you're trying to play it as if... they're wronging you by keeping that friendship.

      You really might have to consider... her friendship with the person you distrust may have nothing to do with you whatsoever. Sometimes it's not about you.

      uh, pull her hair and call her a slut? what kind of advice did you want? i say chill, and find some other people to spend time with and not worry about so called connections. does you friend have the mad hook-up on hallucinagens in a small southern town, that's what i'd call connections. but that is just glitter and doom as well.
