Is it normal roller coster periods

My periods is like most of pad covered with what not 7-11 am really smallish lunch-8 pm and 8 to sleeping a lot again I change my 5 to 6 and 1/2 hours don't usually change after 9:30ish at the latest and don't use over night pads and sometimes leak please let me know and like what strength of pads I should be using thank you
