Is it normal to dream about an old boyfriend? I have been married for almost three years and haven't been with this other guy in almost 5 years. Yet at least once a week I have a dream/nightmare about him trying to get me back. I hate him, I in no way love him anymore. He took my verginity, money and gave me an STD. Does anyone else have this problem? It won't go away and I have already tried to not think about hum?

    It is very common for people to dream about ex-partners. Individuals that have been an important part of our lives continue to take up a part of our mind and heart. It is impossible to very dramatically shut the person out of thoughts and feelings. Just because the relationship ends does not mean that all is finished. As we go through relationships we learn and at times pick up "battle wounds." You will continue to dream about your ex-girlfriend or boyfriend until you "let go" of them on a very important level, or until you learned your lessons from that relationship. Either way, dreaming about your ex-romance does not predict future involvement.     Sry about da std. But i have dreams that reoccour all da time its proven that everyone does. Did u know that people have about 40 dreams every night? U just cant remember all of them.

    dont try not thinking about him that is impossible lol when u try to not think about someone u think about them hahahahah what u have to do its like when u get a song stuck in ur head u have to get a new song stuck in ur head

    some dreams have meaning others have non usally boyfriend/girlfriend has some meaning but I'd say this one is just dream with no true meaning
