Is it normal products i like are discontinued

Seriously, this happens all the time: I discover something I really like and start buying it regularly. Then after some time it's just no longer there on the shelf; be it a cereal bar, drink or particular type of bread. Now even my shade of hair colour has been taken out of production by the company. This is too much!
Ok so I know that basically they didn't sell enough to make more, but it doesn't seem to happen to other ppl as much. Strange taste maybe or is it normal?

    they cancel all tv series I like, in fact I can foretell the future of tv. if I like it, will get cancelled if I don't it's gonna be a hit.

      OMG dude i know right, it like 2 seasons tops then it get cancelled. but hey it eventually get on the instant stream, on my netflix so i lives on i guess. My poor fav shows (ex. Reaper, Dead like me, Pushing dasies, Dresden, Black lagoon and more)

      Well, then you and I have the same sense of humour. As soon as I thought it, I made a little snorting sound and just knew I had to type it out!

      P.S. I lie. It was a big snorting sound. It really amused me too. I'm just glad someone else thought it was funny.

    I'm exactly the same and I thought maybe my tastes were strange too. Everything I like gets discontinued. I've thought about building a barn and buying ten years supply of everything. But it's bad enough when things disappear from the shops. Imagine if you had ten years supply and thus had ten years of knowing the final day was approaching when you ate, drank or used something that you love. And imagine if you had a handful of products all dying on you at once. It'd be naught but a barnful of sorrow.

    That irritates me to find out a product is discontinued but then again it gets me to try something new. Its good to change it up on things once in awhile.

    perhaps the company eventually finds out your a casual user and cancel the product just to piss you off.
