    I used to have a fear of sharp knives.

    I don't now, because I had to learn how to wield them properly for cooking.

    I have that same fear! Finally someone else. I would not say it's normal, it has no basis, but that doesn't make you a freak!

    all phobias are normal. it could be anything. even peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth, or vaginas.
