Is it normal- phobia of "bodies"
Hi,
I have this absolute phobia of this shitty song, which I'm sure you've heard before.
When I was younger I wanted to get the game "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas." I looked up a video of the game in action. I clicked on one, and it used this song I'd never heard before. This phrase was whispered a couple times: "Let the bodies hit the floor. Let the bodies hit the floor. Let the bodies hit the floor. Let the bodies hit the..." After that, loud screaming of the word "FLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!" I was terrified. I also hated the jump between creepy whispering to ear-raping screaming. I closed out the video. After that incident, I saw commercials on TV for the Rambo remake- which used that song. Every time I hear the song, my heart sinks and I suddenly want to run out of the room. I am afraid of loud sounds, and I know that the song is actually quite popular with shithead sadist zombies.
One of my friends, a few days ago, chanted that shitty repetitive chorus in the hallway. I just wanted to punch him in the face. The song has kind of a significance with me. Nobody understands how much it affects me. Don't say "Chill, dude, it's just a song."
Please, I want to know to things.
1) The obvious.
2) How do I deal with the shock that comes from when the song plays? I do NOT want to listen to it over and over again.
