Is it normal people think creepy pasta is real?

I will explain this for those of you who are not aware of what this is. However if you are on the internet often you probably ran into it once or twice.

CreepyPasta is any dark internet story or creepy theory about cartoons. Its where people make dark theories to how shows started, make dark versions of Pokemon and other cartoon episodes, and just random dark stories like "Jeff the killer".

I have always been into Horror, psychology, and Psychological thrillers so I was always into this kind of stuff. It started with "Edd Ed and Eddy" and "Adventure time episode". There was an episode of finn and jake going to the land of death which later after being posted was made into a real episode. There was also a theory made up for "Edd Ed and Eddy" saying that they were ghosts and stuck in eternal limbo.

While its a fun theory and some what plausible probably not the motivation of the person writing the story. They have done since than theories online for every cartoon ever invented. Some of them seem more possible like "Edd Ed and Eddy" theory and some of them very harder to believe like "Danny/turner" theory. Some of the theories would probably be a good ending to certain series like the "Pokemon Coma" idea but is still unlikely to happen.

Most people I know get that this stuff is fake but there is actually people believing it. Even some of the people making them stated they do not believe them and they did this because they were bored. So is it normal people actually buying this?I just find it funny people haven't figured out what this is yet. Its a meme.
