Do people assume you draw really realstically? Do they tell you ,you're not gonna be anything after college? Do people assume you're a slacker/do drugs? Do people assume you're an atheist?

    There's an assumption (in this country, at least) that art college is for people who don't know what else to do and fancy getting drunk for three years before ending up working in insurance. I don't believe it myself, even though my best friend's sister did exactly that.

      My wife went to an incredibly expensive art school. Now she works part time and a book store and I am paying off her massive art school debt.

      Waste of time and money!

          The first one. We've been together for a long time and I didn't make much money at the beginning of our relationship. We're not rich now, but I do alright.
