Is it normal people do not understand what being considerate means?

Is it normal to hate when people don't get when you say not to do something since it effects other people badly. Even when you clearly explain this to them. Like "Not to walk slowly in-front of a moving vehicle when crossing the street" yet they look at you like a moron when you tell them NOT TO DO IT. This and other common sense things which we all know we shouldn't do but people think you are being a awful person when you ask they NOT DO IT.

Your question is a little confusing,
but I'm assuming that you're upset because other people don't think about anyone but themselves.

Unfortunately, yes it is normal for people to be inconsiderate jerks.
However, it's incredibly sad that it is normal for people to be inconsiderate jerks that don't care about anyone but themselves.

    • I am saying I hate when you are considerate, ask others not to do something because its rude, than they treat you like you are a complete asshole since they don't care about anyone besides themselves. Like "Dont walk super slow in front of a vehicle when crossing the street BECAUSE YOU KNOW THEY HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOU". Than they treat you like you are either a jerk or stupid for not joining them.

'Telling' them to do or not do something is pointless.
        Asking might be effective though.
Stop trying to control other people, even if they are being assholes, because you can't change their behaviour. You can only control what you do, you can't control other people. If they're being rude to you because you're asking them to do something that they don't want to do, either A. get different friends or B. worry about yourself. There isn't much else you can do.

        • So you think you should just let your friends die in-front of you? What kind of friend are you? Isn't that a crime in fact? To see something bad happening and not step in. I would rather save my self the arrest.

Because people do not like being told what to do. You get all self righteous and that doesn't work. You shouldn't lecture adults. Lead them across the street without blatantly belittling them.

        • That is not belittling. So if you saw someone getting ready to trip someone down the stairs you will stand and let it happen? Have you ever heard of the by-standard effect? I guess its better to let your friend get run over and laugh and than make fun of the poor person in the vehicle. Who is going to get arrested for accidentally killing your friend since your friend decided to be an idiot. You sound like a wonderful person.

            • You just said it was stupid to tell someone to not walk incredibly slowly when crossing the street. I explained why its bad. Since its rude to the person driving and they risk getting hit. Yet you would gladly watch your friends get hit by a vehicle and probably not give a shit. Which makes you a horrible idiot just like everyone else.

It's also inconsiderate to tell people what to do.
