Is it normal people are limited in insults?

So I was on Omegle and Omegle lets you ask a question and have two people discuss it. I asked them to insult me without using the word gay, faggot, homo, or retard.

65% of them used one of those words, missing the point entirely. 30% couldn't think of an insulting word despite being given nearly the whole English language to choose from. The remaining 5% just said "dumb".

Given the amount of insults people sling around, doesn't it seem particularly ignorant to not learn some good ones?
