Is it normal, ovary pain?

The other day I woke up with this unbearable pain around my ovaries (particularly my right one) and my bladder. I don't know how long it lasted (30 mins. to an hour, maybe?) until the pain subsided slightly and I could move a bit more, but even now I still get slight pains around that area. I wasn't on my period at the time and I wasn't just about to get it either. Does anybody know what this could mean?

Ovarian cysts! I Got them from my mother. One of her cysts grew to the size of a grapefruit and had to be surgically removed. Any time I get pain like you're describing I go to the doctor and get an ultrasound because of my high risk. The birth control pill helped control their growth for me though, look into it.

That's nuts. I woke up in so much pain the other day. I had ovarian cysts once before, so I was pretty sure that's what it was this time. Its not fun.

Yes go to your gyno. It's probably just treatable with antibiotics and NSAIDs but go soon before it gets worse which could lead to surgery if you out up with it.

Its quite possible you have ovarian cysts. Your probably having those pains around the time you are ovulating, not life threatening just painful. To be on the safe side go get a check up.
