Is it normal our eyes always meet?

It happens each day with this guy.
When he's in front of me, behind, next to, in the stairs - everywhere around me - I just naturally/instictively raise my eyes or turn my head and our eyes meet. Each time he's around. It's just like our eyes are magnetics. Sometimes, I surprise him giving me side looks. It's not a look with love but a kind of deep look. So I can't do anything but look away immediately.
We don't even know each other. I don't know anything about him, not even his name and none of my friends know him.
I just can't help with it. I do this without knowing I'll meet his eyes, without knowing he's here, this is just as we do when we breathe or blink.
A reflex.Since it happens always, I usually really quickly look away and he does the same.However, it still happens.

        He probably finds you attractive but isn't sure how to approach you. Come up with some joke about his staring and tell it to him :) Not a mean one, though. Just something to start you two talking.

          The thing is that I didn't find something in his behaviour which looks like attraction.
          Well, at the beginning, I only noticed him because, a day when we were all in a hurry, he let me go first to leave a very crowded place - something really rare today -.
          I started to look at him but stopped because I didn't want him to think anything about me.
          The problem is, I can't avoid meeting his eyes. It's just impossible. He seems to be everywhere I look.

            Confirmation bias :) Every time you look and don't see him, you don't notice that event, but every time you look and do seem him, you pay more attention, which is why it seems he's everywhere.

            When men look at women they find attractive, their brains release a small amount of oxytocin—one of the chemicals that is released during orgasms that makes you feel like everything's super good. So it's very pleasurable to look at women, even if you don't necessarily trying to "picture them naked."

            As for not seeing anything in behaviour... well, maybe he's just afraid to show it. That, or the heads in the basement thing :P

    At first it was instinctual but if it's been happening for some time you'll most likely be looking for it out of habit.

        In life you meet people that you are naturally drawn too. It's because you have similar energies and they are attracted to each other. It doesn't necessarily mean that you are romantically attracted to them, but you just click together. Alike souls group together. But, that's really only if you believe in the spiritual side of life like myself.
