    I don't see how it is any different than saying you were born straight.

    Normal as in common, yes. I think the jury is still out on whether that statement is scientifically accurate though.

    I think it's relatively normal for someone to say, "I was born gay". Whether or not it's a stupid thing to say depends on how said person says it.
