I’ve been really lonely and sad for most of this semester and i just want affection and it’s gotten to the point where i’m completely down to fuck someone for the affection. I am a 19 year old girl and a college freshman
Normal, but be careful and keep in mind you may well feel just as lonely afterwards.
It'd be better to work out some longterm strategies to deal with your loneliness and sadness rather than quickie sex.

Kidding. Don't just hook up for affection. Find a guy whose company you enjoy and see what it leads to. If it doesn't work, do it again.
Wow 19 and out to wreck your life because you need attention. I am going to guess your interactions with men has been abusive and the only way you feel they will give you attention so you don't feel lonely is to have sex because that's what guys that don't care about you want to do to you is exchange for sex. Those type are users and don't give damn about you and you will never satisfy that loneliness thru sex. Take control of your relationships a good guy will stick around and not required you to give everything up to give you what you need most.
It is normal, nothing bad about it. However, don't keep it up long. You need to get out of this rut you're in sooner rather than later.
I would say find hobbies or things that interest you. Volunteer at a shelter, an animal shelter, an assisted living center etc.
When you hook up because you are lonely, you really run the risk of becoming infatuated with the person. (Falling for them). I been there done that. I learned the hard way. Besides, dogs are much more loyal to the one that feeds them.
