Is it normal or odd that i find darker skin most beautiful?

I’m white and I think that some white people can be beautiful too but I generally favour darker skin. To me, Black is beautiful! Actually, anything from decently tanned, medium brown all the way to the darkest of dark black. Is it normal that I find darker skin more appealing? I know that it’s not a bad thing, I guess I just wonder how common or unusual it is. Not that it would change anything, just curious what others think.

    It's just your preference, of course it's normal. As for if it's common, I'm not sure.

    I dated a beautiful woman from the philippines, beautiful dark hair, great skin complexion, beautiful tan year round. It took me about 4 years to be able to think about her and not get emotional. (Damn Women). But yes I have a thing for the Asian women with that bit darker skin.

    I like "medium" skintones the most personally (the type typically found on Latinos and Middle Easterners).

    I wouldn't say it's that strong a preference though, I think if you take care of your looks generally then you'll be hot whatever race you are.

    Personal preference, I guess. One dark-skinned bartender who works at the sports bar I go to gets complimented on her skin tone and softness all the time. She's gorgeous...Just sucks she gives awful service and is slow as crap.

    Excuse me for sounding racist AF but I don't like how black people look when wearing certain western clothes. Particularly hot pink on dark black skin. Just as I wouldn't find pink and brown to be an appealing color combination otherwise. But now with African clothing, I think that looks far more beautiful with dark skin than any type of clothes could do for light skin.

    This is just about visual aesthetics though, sexually I don't think there's anything I dislike more than anything else except non-albino pale white skin that would remind me of my mother

      I think a lot of black people look amazing in yellow and orange, it compliments their dark skin so beautifully. I remember the music video for the song "About You Now" by a British girl group call the Sugababes, they were wearing yellow dresses and the black girl especially looked stunning.

      Whether warm or cool colours suit you depends a lot on if your skin is warm or cool though. If you have cooler skin then blues, green etc will suit you better and if you have warmer skin you'll look better in sunset-y kind of colours.
