Is it normal or do i have serious abandonment issues?

I didn't talk to my brother or see him for 6 years. I didn't think about it much and just listened to whatever my dad told me until about November 2012. I googled him and finally talked to him through twitter and text in feb. 2013 and acted like a dick to him through text for like a month. It got so bad that I convinced my gf to text him and say " your a dumbass". Is it normal or do I got serious abandonment issues?

    No, that's not what abandonment issues are really about. Fear of abandonment is when you fear the departure of the significant people in your life, thus leaving you all alone and miserable. It leads to severe anxiety, obsessive thoughts, insecurity, and fear of being alone.
