Is it normal only to want to try psychedelic drugs?

I have a totally clean record for what concerns drug use. The most I've ever done is drink a beer or two. Not even smoked a cigarette in my entire life. Funny thing is that I have an urge to try out psychedelic drugs such as LSD and DMT. These are the two that interest me the most since they are non-addictive and pretty harmless, yet have powerful effects on their users. I've already looked into methods of extracting DMT from various plants. Does anyone else have similar views on drug use? IIN?

  • Psychedelics aren't easy drugs, its not like weed. You need to be prepared for what you're about to do, they can fuck with your mind in ways unimaginable. There's a reason these drugs aren't addictive. LSD is had to get now, you'll most likely find RCs which are plenty fun but be careful because they aren't as safe as pure LSD. The one thing with LSD is that it lasts 8 hours so make sure your day is free and have a sitter in case things go south. Shrooms only last 4 hours but the trip is unpredictable. If you've never done drugs smoke weed first dont jump into this heavy shit.

It is unlikely you will find real LSD 25 anywhere today, unless you know a chemist. It has little commercial demand and is quite difficult to make. Mostly, from what I've heard, what most people get when they buy LSD is a concoction of drugs that may not be safe to take.
I would stick to Peyote or magic mushrooms if you want to try psychedelics; both are easily identifiable and there is plenty of reliable info available on them.

    • Ok thanks for the help. I had heard that LSD was harder to get hold of than it used to be. All the kids nowadays prefer to get high off crystal meth and shit like that.
Does "magic mushroom" refer to one species in particular, or is it a generic term for all mushrooms which have an intoxicating effect?

Magic mushrooms are mushrooms containing psylocibin. Psylocibin is the psychoactive compound that effects your serotonin receptors causing the hallucinogenic effects. Do not, I repeat do not try and pick your own wild mushrooms and eat them. The ones you buy are grown from a specific spore indoors.

LSD is a passion of mine. Its not as hard to come by as everyone makes it sound. Just gotta ask around college area. Get a test kit to make sure it is real and not an rc. (Like 10 bucks off amazon) when you try it I reccomend doing 2 if you are really looking for the profound experience and not just a feel good things are wavy effect. DMT is very easy to extract from mimosa root bark or acacia root bark. All the supplies can be readily and legally bought (disclaimer: it is illegal to manufacture DMT and I do not advise it. The resources are out there and if you do anything illegal it is on your own accord andhas nothing to do with me) DMT is really really intense. Reaaaaaaly intense. And ive dropped 11 hits of acid before. DMT is even a bit intense for me. I was looking for some answers about the afterlife and dimensional perspective by trying DMT but I was only left with more questions. I still say go for it. Shrooms are also a safe psychedelic. Not my fancy but some people love em.

Not my place to judge, but like anything, ease into it- no one wants you to end up as a statistic

I believe EVERYONE should try LSD or psilocybin at least once.

I am so glad that the medical community is finally getting around to doing more testing on LSD, DMT and psilocybin on people. The first LSD study in more than 40 years showed a large decrease in anxiety among terminally ill patients. • What's not normal about it? Humans have been doing drugs for many different reasons for thousands of years.

Because it isn't normal. A desire to try drugs for no real purpose is a sign that something is missing in your life, and that you need help. A person with no desire for drugs is a good person, because drugs are a serious risk that only the foolish are willing to take. It isn't normal to need them unless you are actually ill. If you are not ill and yet you still need them, there is a problem with you.

Depends on the drug. LSD DMT and psylocibin mushrooms are actually very safe with 0 chemical addiction potential. These psychedelics in particular are actually very eye opening experiences. If you do some of your own independent research into these I'm sure you will find the fascination and curiosity more than reasonable.

I would be absolutely ashamed to have drugs on me. Honestly, I cannot see any benefits whatsoever from doing them. A complete waste of time.

        • I won't disagree with you. But I have read some of your previous comments and you seem to have a problem with drug using people in general and have said some insulting things to them. So whatever.
