Is it normal not to want to stare at car accidents?

Iv`e noticed how people love to stand & stare at car wrecks, I don`t understand this & will go out of my way to avoid lookig at dead or injured casualties. I`m very sqeamish about stuff like this & feel faint if someone cuts themself.I`m wondering if I`m the strange one, or other people are weird for wanting to stand & stare at something so nasty?

    No its not right to sit and stare my partner's cusion got ran over a couple of years ago and loads of people sat staring at him he was on a motor bike they took his helmet off and he had no face left at all that's wat happens driving motor cycles near bin lorries
