I met this guy online and he is nice, smart, and funny. I'm scared to get too attached because I am too nervous about meeting in real life. I'm awkward and get nervous easily, help! I don't know what to do!

    Be really reaaaaally careful. Wow this post is old haha I've never met anyone from the internet but would probably be packing pepper spray in my purse! Just in case shuggy-Chan turned out to be shuggy-kidnapper or something haha.

      oh pleased i be more scared that the girl a met would get too scared of a relationship after meting cause meeting make it more "real" or whatever. cause that shit already happened once to me

          not catfished, but after we parted ways, she couldnt handle a relationship have distance, then after i said oky and wanted to stey friend she cut all ties, cause i think it made it easier for her, i dont resent her for it, but it really did suck

    If you do go to meet him take someone with you. But let him know about it if he is genuine he wont mind but if he is a predator he will call the whole thing off.

    I think it's normal not wanting to meet people you've known over the internet, for you can't REALLY know them, but, again, who can claim to REALLY know another person; years past people can still amaze you.
    Personally, I would never meet them because I find it easier to regret never having met them than it being disappointing or even traumatic. Other people might prefer the risk.

    I agree with SpaceGhost. Be very cautious. Meeting someone in person that you only know online is never really such a wise thing to do. It could be dangerous. They could end up murdering you.
