Is it normal not to remember?

Most people I know don't remember their dreams. They think I'm not normal because I remember every little detail of mine.

Sometimes I do remember some pictures. Then I make up a whole story by adding made up details and stuff.
I guess it is all about one's ability to abstract and remember what you have been abstracting about.
Dreams are the place from which imagination comes from. Do you remember how it was when you remembered? I do. Then I have been told I was being grandiose and well, I just decided to stop dreaming.

Very normal.
