My husband loves computers and is really good at building and fixing them. However when he starts talking about it I find that eating rat poison would be more fun. Is it normal to be so annoyed listening to his jargon that I have no interest in learning about
Well I keep getting a black screen everytime I play online games. I noticed tar when my gpu reaches 70 degrees, that's when it happens. I tried so many things ( cleaning the dust, update video card drivers, tested ram) any clue?
I understand. Sometimes all I hear is clicks and squeaks but still have mad love haha.
It isn't only husbands that do this. I worked with a guy who got a couple of phone calls a day from his wife. Uh-huh.....uh-huh.....uh-huh.....yes, well.....uh-huh.....uh-huh... Do you think he was listening?
You should probably level with him, acknowledge that you're glad what he does makes him happy and admit that you don't have the faintest idea of what he's talking about. Where the stress comes in is when you think that you should understand what he's saying, so you either pretend you do or tune him out. Tell him that if he wants you to appreciate what he does, he should spend a few minutes explaining something very simple to you. You listen. Breaking it down for your audience to understand is a teaching skill, and a valuable one.

yeah i kinda understand but in a different way. my husband is an engineer and builds army tanks but most of the stuff he does is top secret so he can only tell me half a story which can be very annoying and frustrating when he talks about his job and what he does tell me is the really boring technical stuff. i just wanna hear about what weapons they are building and how testing went and stuff like that.

Seriously, you're being a very good wife. You know we have to compromise and show interest in what our partners like even if it makes us feel sick. Read and learn about computers you'll find it less boring.
no clue why people get married ... maybe if im so old and usless and dont care about anything in life i will get a husband ,,, untill then if someone boors me I will just call them a booring looser and move on.
