Is it normal not to like having strange people in my room?

I'm a 30 year old mature student and I live with 5 other students who are all much younger than me (age range 18-23). They all have get-togethers and parties where lots of people end up in someone's room, just talking and drinking, etc. However, I just can't stand strange people in my room! I have nothing to hide and there's nothing that I'm ashamed of in there, I just see it as my personal space and I only feel comfortable having really close friends and family members in there. Is this because I'm older and I need more privacy or am I just weird?

Normal - your roomies seem like post-adolescent dorks with no boundaries who don't care about your space. Lay down the law. It is your space.

Yeah its normal. Everyone hates the feeling that they have to entertain people or people you do not know coming in and wanting to steal your items or mess up your room. I don't like it either.
