Is it normal not to have a sincere radar?
I wonder if others can tell if someone is being sincere? I find it hard to recognize insincerity. Is there an easy way to tell if others are sincere?

I only have an ItDuz Radar. And I can spot one from 5 clicks range.
Their mating call is a distinctive one. It sounds something like "This post irritates me". The "irritate" part is dead give away of an ItDuz, you see.
In general, I want to believe people are being sincere. However I know that isn't always true. Sometimes people are a dead giveaway because they try too hard, like bad flirting. I always question the sincerity of the charming. If I know the person it is easier to spot insincerity. In strangers, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt unless they just sound cold. It's hard to explain, I don't think there is an easy way to indicate sincerity.
Sometimes I can feel it.
Just try not to put myself into a position where I'll be affected by other's response. So if it's something I can just nod and say "uh-huh" then I probably shouldn't really care if it's a lie or not.
Hmm, I don't know. It just seems obvious when people are being fake, it just doesn't look natural (obviously). I'm not sure what it is, I think that people generally pick up on body language quite well. But then again, if a person really is good at being fake, then we have no idea they're being fake. Who knows, maybe half the people I talk to are actually insincere and they're just good at covering it up. In which case, my "sincere radar" has failed, I just don't know that it has.
