Is it normal not to feel guilt?

Several times someone has tried to hurt me (or worse) and I have defended myself, perhaps a bit too vigorously. Afterwards I felt no guilt, pity, remorse or sorrow. The authorities never got involved. is it normal or could I be a psychopath?

Yep, most animals get lazier after they've been fixed.

Assuming your response wasn't way out of proportion to what was being done to you, I don't see that you have anything to feel guilty about. What does "too vigorously" mean: did you pull a gun & shoot someone who looked at you strangely or what?

    • Let us just say that those people will never hurt any one ever again.

It's normal. You probably just want to be a psychopath cos it's all the rage these days.

Guilt is like a rocking horse, a lot of motion but it gets you nowhere.
