I absolutely to NOT like the idea of being hugged.. the thing it depends on how I am hugged and the temperature of the person.

I can sometimes feel the body heat of a person nearby. I hate that feeling, more so in a hug. Also hate being surprise hugged from behind.. I just might throw you...x.x The usual hug where the person puts their arms around you and hold their hands.. feels like being caught in a sack.

I rarely hug..... when I do my hands always stays on the other person's should NEVER holding my hands together.

    I hate hugs, unless I really want to hug someone. But I feel like too many people hug these days, it's not special anymore.

    At the moment my family can hug me... Other than that,,.. Your in my personal space people!

    You would hate my family! My mother came from a large family, and they all like to give hugs.

    What's this holding hand hug? I usually rub the back of the person I'm hugging or place one hand on the back of their head. I love the rush and comfort embedded in a good squeeze. Although sweat is a different story, and I thank my friends for the fair warning of a sweaty hug.

    However my mother in law hates hugs. I feel awkward hugging everyone but her but she claims it hurts. She doesn't like touch very much at all. I'm not sure why. So you aren't the only one, but it isn't very common.

    I can't really empathise because hugging and cuddling make me happy. Maybe you should get some T-shirts printed with slogans like "No hug zone". At least it'd tell people not to even bother, without being rude.

    I love hugs! There is nothing more serene and peaceful then embracing another human being in your arms so I can't relate to what you're saying.
