I'm a male in my mid 30's and have never cum from oral sex. It feels good but I've never even thought I was close to cumming.

I dislike this because I often consciously advance the sexual part of relationships with women much more slowly due to this issue. This is because I hate having to explain that I'm a little different and oral doesn't do it for me. But the two long term relationships I've had the women were accepting of this. In fact I'm certain my last serious girlfriend found it to be a perk that she didn't have to give head.

But I'm recently back out in the dating world and yet again holding back and moving more slowly than I'd like in sexual relationships. Which is why I just want to know once and for all - is it normal for oral to not do it for a guy? I don't expect it to be common - but is it normal?

    My experience has been that most girls don't know how to give a blowjob properly. So, you need to teach her, give her feedback, and encourage her. You can also give her a 'helping hand,' bring yourself close to climax, and then have her use her mouth. Over time, she will get better and better, to the point where eventually she can bring you to climax without any 'assistance.'

    I find it nearly impossible to cum from a blowjob. The only time it happens is if it is a "chance" encounter with a stranger, and I only cum then because of the much higher excitement level. I don't think a partner of mine has gotten me to cum from a blowjob since I was about 17. In the many years since, I've never had a partner who's had a problem with me needing to jackoff to cum. Most of them are happy to help.

        I've never understood why some stories show voting results and some don't. I voted 'yes' for yours - so you can count it at 100%% normal! And I know lots of guys who share our 'problem', it just makes the situation much more fun and creative for all. Enjoy it!
