Is it normal not to believe in an afterlife?

To put simply I stopped believing in christianity a long time ago. I also stopped believing in the after life at this time. How many of you actually believe in it?

I'm not Christian and never was. I used to wonder if there was an afterlife, but I eventually decided that there's no point in thinking about it. We're all going to die eventually and what happens then happens. Better to focus on getting this life right.

We are organisms who will die. There is no proof of God. Thus, no afterlife. Why can't people wrap their minds around the fact that there doesn't HAVE to be something that created us. Humans are alive, that is all there is to it. Enjoy it and stop over analyzing it, you psycho worshippers. Religion is the center of fear, discomfort ,and quarrel.

yep, by relinquishing god you also have to let go of the false hope of heaven and the fear of hell..

The purpose of creation is a topic that puzzles every human being at some point in his or her lifetime. Everybody at some time or another asks themselves the question “Why do I exist?” or “For what purpose am I here on earth?”
