Is it normal not to be normal???

I was wondering... Not a single soul I know are people who I consider normal. We all have uncomon habbits, believe in the wierdest stuff and do the wierdest things. I don't know, to me the human species is the wierdest thing on earth, each one of us has a twisted pronality, traumas, etc. which make each one of us a particular case of insanity.

I jut know one person which I consider to have a normal behaviour, des that makes her not normal? Is that because the norm is not to be normal?

  • If you knew what people do behind closed doors or what goes on in their heads, you'd have nightmares for the rest of your life. Forget normal.

    I don't know anyone normal, and I don't think I want to.

Yes, in the sense that it's impossible to be considered completely normal by everyone. The word "normal" is extremely flexible, and what's considered normal in one culture is condemned in other cultures. Everyone has a different idea of what normal is.

However, just because you think one person has a slightly abnormal interest, that doesn't make them insane. You really shouldn't chuck that word around lightly, otherwise it loses it's meaning. If me liking a band that no-one else likes is considered insanity, then what would you classify severe schizophrenia as?

We are all different, we are all insane in our own ways. Whatever you consider normal or abnormal it's just the way you feel about things. Although we don't talk about it, we all do something shocking or "twisted" like you said above.

It's normal to not be normal.
