so, I've been into this guy for a long time now. I see him a lot at the gym and a couple of days ago we were at the same party. His friend started talking to me and said to me that I should ask my crush for a kiss. His friend obviously didn't know that I adore him. We talked a little but after a while it felt kinda awkward because my crush told me to kiss his friend and vice versa. Now I feel like I have to write something or say hi when I see him the next time. What should I write? Just "hi" feels retarded... Please help!!

    Act like nothing awkward happened at the party.

    "Hi, [name of guy]. We spoke to each other at the party a couple of days ago. I really had fun talking to you, you sound really interesting and I would like to get to know you better. Want to have dinner/see a film/get some coffee etc. later?"

    Just because you're a girl doesn't mean you can't ask him for a date. It might seem like going very quickly to ask someone on a date when you've only spoken to them once, but that's the point of a date: to talk to the other person and get to know them if you don't know them already.
