My family is Buddhist, but I love some of the things in the Bible. "Dust thou art and to dust shalt thou return". That's absolutely Buddhist too. But you'd be lucky to be buried these days. Your ashes can be spread and still fertilise the ground.
It certainly beats being cremated. But cremation takes up less space, while the natural burial requires land and this planet is running out of room! On the plus side, a land burial should allow you to become one with nature because, your body would fertilise the earth.
I want my corpse burned to a crisp after I am dead. It is more eco friendly in the long run. I'll just be some more dust in the wind...
In the old old days if you were bad and thay put you away and you died in prision you would be put in none marked grave out side of the church grave sites. This was to help keep people from comiting a crime because being put in the ground outside the church area was like going to hail and so on.
i always wanted my body to be thrown some where in the woods for some random people to find you know make a game out of it that way even in death im serving so purpose because like u said its the "after life" that counts i dont know does that make any sense
