Is it normal..my vagina smells?

So, my vagina stinks. A lot. I wash it a lot and change my underwear every night and morning. Even when I close my legs, it smells terrible. My boyfriend says that I have something wrong with my vagina when we were having sex because it's smelly.

  • If it's a fishy smell, go to the doctor.

Otherwise, vagina's have a natural odour (and lets face it, that area will never smell like roses and peaches completely, they are genitals after all) but the odour shouldn't be enough to turn your bf away, that's when you know something is wrong.

Well if it isn't an infection then it could most likely be your diet. Try eating less meats and cheeses and more fruits and veggies. That should help.

Without going in for a whiff it would be impossible to know normal you smell. But keep in mind that in today's world we have been conditioned to believe we smell bad because the personal products manufacturers have been drilling into people's heads the notion that you have to smell like their product (which they describe as "clean", "fresh", etc.)in order to be socially acceptable.

The truth is, once you adjust your head, it's much more sexually exciting to make love to someone who exudes healthy natural body odors than to someone scented with laboratory flowers.

You could have BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) it's an imbalance of the PH levels inside your vagina. It can be caused by stress, too much sugar in your diet and get this... Too much cleaning! I suffered this after my son was stillborn because I was extremely stressed. The GP gave me antibiotics which worked at first but it always came back. Try food grade 3% hydrogen peroxide and water using a Baster or syringe. NOTE: correct dosage is essential or you may damage yourself! It worked for me. If you have an email address I can send you a whole heap of info I paid £60 for! Another trick is to use natural probiotic yoghurt. Hope this helps :-)

An infection or you have a putrid diet. What you put in your body directly affects what you get out of it/ what comes out of it. Eat pineapple. Lemme know what happens

You might want to consider talking to your doctor.

Also try increasing your intake of fresh fruit. What you eat can affect how your body smells.
