Ok, there is a guy who I've made a great friendship with over the past 5/6 months - he's straight, I'm gay. One of the first nights we went out, we kissed because he said he was curious. Later that night on the way home, he tells me he would be with me if he were gay.

Accepting his statement as a compliment, I've come to like this guy since and enjoy my time with him, however I'm confused about our friendship. It seems that whenever we go out with another friend, he tends to flirt with me gives a peck on the cheek (on the sly). He's currently in an open relationship with a girl and has straight online dating apps.

I find that as we talk, we have similar attractions in what we look for in a relationship (personality-wise) and find it crazy that we've become great friends only in a small time period.

Though, I'm getting mixed messages and feel that I'm reading too much into it.

Is this a normal straight guy / gay guy friendship?

    Damn. I also have recently become friends with a straight guy and I fancy him A LOT but he doesn't seem to reciprocate. I have actually tried to casually flirt with him on few occasions but he showed no interest. Your friend seems like he could be bicurious at the very least - if I was you I would probably tell him that if he wants to keep your friendship as it is he should slow down a little bit.
