Is it normal my sex drive has decreased to almost nothing?

I'm still madly in love with my ex. I need to get over him, but I'm sure it will take some time. He is bipolar and because of this and his insecurities, our relationship was constantly off and on. I told him I would stick with him through anything, the only exception would be if he broke up with me again. About a week later, he told me he was done. I had to keep my vow to myself that I would leave him and not return because I was nothing but good to him, even after all the bullshit he put me through. I deserve much more than he was giving me..so, here I am..heart broken and going through the motions.

*SIGH* so, my question is, though I consider myself to be a very VERY sexual individual, I can't fathom making love to anyone else but my ex. I haven't been aroused in weeks. Is this normal?

        i broke up with my girlfriend a while ago as well. trust me, your better off not with them. my gf at the time had severe mental issues and would verbally abuse the fuck out of me. trust me, people like us are too giving towards those kinds of people and often get taken advantage of. your better off not associating with him. however its your life and if you find it neccesary than so be it

            there is no shame in missing him, however with you obviously being someone who deserves better you'll find someone who can spoil with you love like you deserve.

    yeah it's normal for some, some people try rebound sex but I would not recommend that, give it some time. sorry to hear of your heartbreak

    It will return when you start getting over him. Don't try to force yourself to move on quicker, it won't help.

      Well, he currently doesn't have a cell phone and hasn't had one for about five months, so he'll call from random numbers. I haven't answered them so I don't know 100% that it's him, but given his track record, I'm like 95% sure it is.
