Is it normal my period does this to me?

For several years now my periods have caused me to throw up just about every month. My periods also make me pass out. I get cramps that make me feel like someone is stabbing me with a knife repeatedly. This started when I was about fourteen and I am now eighteen. I'm afraid there is something seriously wrong with me. Is it normal?

Nothing is wrong with you. My sister used to be like this when she first had hers. It was insane. She used to pass out in the middle of anything, throw up, have some wild mood swings, and horrible cramps that made her scream like crazy. It slowly started slowing down for her when she turned 22. Hopefully you get better from yours a little faster. But it's normal.

Some people r just lucky enough to get the worst of the worst when it comes to their period.... I'd suggest talking to ur doctor and maybe going on the pill if u rnt already... It does way more than just prevent pregnancy... It can help shorten and lighten ur period which could help with the cramps and nausea... Hope this helped :)
