Is it normal my penis suddenly feels bigger and heavier?

I am 19 years old and noticed recently the other day when I was in the shower that my penis looked and felt much bigger than usual. My balls also looked bigger and they were hanging lower than ever before. My penis also appeared to be more long while it was flaccid. When I am soft it hangs down past my balls now, and it never hung that low before. Is it normal for this to happen to someone who is 19?

    For most guys, puberty has ended and the penis has reached it's maximum size by your age, but a few guys continue growing into their early twenties.

    Being in the shower probably also contributed to what you saw. The testicles hang lower when warm (an adaptation which helps the testicles stay cool which improves the rate of sperm production), and the warm water flowing over you and you washing yourself very possibly triggered the start of an erection.
