Is it normal my partner leaves work uniform nearly every evening?

Hi,
Recently moved in with partner. Used to see each other 3 nights a week, mostly the quiet bits around day's off. Was always relaxed and fun and we did lots of things.

But i had no idea the other days of the week partner would keep work uniform on - about 4 nights a week, the same uncool, dreary corporate outfit.

I have this image of 25 years seeing this outfit so many nights a week. It is actually a turn OFF. I don't care every now and again but so much of the time??? I can't believe somone would think that was the best way to keep a relationship fun and exciting. I have to bring it up somehow i guess...

I found a forum about whether people change after work and about 90% do, and the remaining 10% admit to lounging around in a suit, which would be alright. So this 4 nights a week business in a weird-coloured corporate uniform is a bit odd (perhaps partner just doesn't care). Just want to know if I'm overreacting, get some tips on ways to bring it up and not seem like the bad guy for saying it's killing the mood for me - which it is (and that's out of my control!)

    It's normal that it bothers you and not him. Men and women often see things differently. Things that are irrelevant to us are often highly annoying to them. Why don't you suggest to him that he slips into something more comfortable so you two can cuddle or something like that?

    I have a work uniform and they wash it for me so I used to wear it as much as possible especially if I was doing work around home or camping. It was saving me money too as I'd just bought a house and couldn't afford to spent up on new clothes.

    Now I've had a shift of thought where I feel that if I'm wearing a uniform I should be getting paid so I take it off ASAP. If I'm painting or climbing around in th roof or working on my car then I'll probably put it on though.

    It's a shame you don't have a fetish for guys in uniform.

    Some jobs are insistent on uniforms. It's normal that you find it boring, but why not turn his wardrobe into a bonding experience? For instance, you could go to the store with him and buy him exciting things to wear like suits and ties. Sometimes, people are either too comfortable or too tired to change their work outfit which is also fine. Tell him how you feel.

    My husband wears a suit for work, and he only changes if he's off out with our twin sons!

    HE'S A MAN! It's normal! :)
