Is it normal my mum wont talk to me

my mum and i had a falling out over her trying to control my life, i basically told her where to go and that was 6 years ago.
iv since tried to contact her and make peace and i even went as far as to apologise to her for what i said but she still isn't interested iv even sent her photos of the children iv had and nothing, i wouldn't keep focusing on this if i didn't really miss her i feel like a part of me is missing and i know its my fault for telling her to butt out, the thing is she turned out to be right in the end.

  • I'm sorry. :( I sort of know how you feel. I talk to my brother once a year and then he disappears off the face of the earth. When my dad and I sent him birthday cards we never heard from him from anyone. (He lives with my other brother and close to my mom.) Not that it matters, I know he got my card.

I think I have somewhat of an understand why he does it, because I do the same thing. I dread every second leading up to calling my parents or answering their call. I always end up getting pissed off.

I miss them. My brothers that is. I wonder how my parents feel about fucking everything up. The only one who kept us together was my grandma. Now I see when it all fell apart, when she died. And look at me now. I have no one.

It's completely normal but it still hurts. At the moment my father and mother aren't speaking to me. I find this to be really sad and hope your mother will come to her senses in the future and try to have a relationship with you.

That's pretty harsh. I hope your mom comes around. I'm really sorry. Family is so important. I would just keep trying.
