Is it normal my mother visited me after she passed away?

My mother recently passed away after 6 long, painful years of her body breaking down from cancer, and diabetes. Im happy she's okay now and in heaven painless with no worries. Exactly two weeks and one day after her passing at around 5 A.M she came to me in my sleep and was COMPLETELY happy and healthy looking and had golden lights from heaven shining on her and she talked to me about issues we never got to resolve with each other in life. Around the end she told me she was in heaven:). Has anyone else had the blessing of their passed away loved ones coming to visit them:)? PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE!:)

    I dream about my childhood dog and ferret looking happy and healthy from time to time. I think that it is probably just my own subconscious mind trying to make me feel better about them being happy. I cannot say if they are actually in an afterlife or not. No one will ever know for sure until they die.

    There was a kid I knew back in high school that passed :( and it hurt me. He sat beside me in class, though I could have been a better person it hurts to know he's gone. But there was one night a couple of days after he passed, I had a dream I was in class talking to him. I don't remember what I said, but I do remember waking up feeling peaceful and relieved. :')
