In a family, usually fathers and daughters get along well and mothers and sons get along right? So when my dad and I are getting along fine, my mom shoots me death glares and then tries to make me jealous by kissing my dad - which he would pull away from. Is that normal?
maybe she's just upset that you're getting more attention than she is. i wouldn't know because my dad has never been around...
It seems weird but it's "normal-er" than you would think. This is called the "Electra complex" or oppositely for guys "Oedipus complex" I learned some of this in my phycology classes. You should probably google it up for a more in-depth description.
well i have always been closer to my mum. your mum is pretty screwed up to do that kind of stuff. does she think that you and your dad have a thing going on? parents should never be jealous is one child is closer to the other, that is just how things work. like when i call my parents house, i would speak to my mum longer than i would my dad. they both know that i love them the same but its just easier to talk to my mum about things sometimes. seriously, your mum is a wacko!
What's weird is your dad pulling away from your mom kissing him. By him acting weird (and creepy) it is possibly him that is instigating all of the tension between you and your mother.
