Is it normal my local bar lets me smoke weed there?

Now weed just became legal in my state in the last 6 months but the new law still has not approved marijuana use within establishments as nobody has gotten their marijuana use license yet.
There is a local bar I often visit, and even before the new law, back when weed was still illegal, I have always smoked it on the back porch when I go there and nobody cares.
Not only does nobody care, everybody else does it too, including the staff. There is often a constant hemp fest going on the back porch smoking area.
Now I have been to a lot of bars, and I play in bands, so I've been to a lot and everywhere else gets pissed if I attempt to spark up a bowl but this particular bar I usually go to just doesn't give a fuck.
